Electric trains require that magnetic or electrically conductive reinforcement materials should not be used in the construction of railways. Fiberglass reinforcement is non-conductive and non-magnetic. Also, it is four times lighter and much cheaper than the stainless steel rebar traditionally used for railways. In addition, fiberglass reinforcement has twice the tensile strength in comparison with a steel reinforcing bar. Our rebar are an ideal option for railway construction.
